Interesting place for discovering Fairmont City. Spotless and updated rooms with 2 beds and amicable staff. Lots of goodies for breakfast. Location very close to saint louis downtown. Also, in the middle of jackson.

The location of the hotel is convenient if you are planning on visiting the Cahokia Mound area or exploring the surrounding attractions. The classic small motel has been recently taken over by new owners who are making efforts to improve it. One positive aspect is that the new owners seem to be more attentive and considerate towards the guests compared to the previous management.
The neighborhood where the hotel is located can be a bit sketchy and may not feel safe, especially at night.

Small room, heater/ a/c will prevent light sleepers from sleeping. This is definitely a low-cost, no-frills place.

There was pornography on two of the tv chanels Rooms could be rented two hourly for sex There was an added charge for using a credit card to pay for the hotel The free wi/fi was barely useable, slow and intermittent The free breakfast consisted of coffee, juice and a cup cake The carpet was grungy and sticky
